Only a special few are fortunate to receive and enjoy the privacy, splendor and natural beauty of this one-of-a-kind prestigious upcountry sanctuary overlooking the island of Maui.
This accommodation is intended for the use of our Aromatherapy seminar guests but is available to the general public when it is not previously scheduled. Regardless, all guests will be presented with information regarding the benefits and general uses of aromatherapy in their everyday lives. All accommodations will also be provided with an aromatherapy atomizer and selected essential oils that they will be able to experience during their visit.

We invite you to share the beauty and magic of Olinda, located on the slope of Haleakala crater, nestled among towering pine and eucalyptus trees at every turn. A series of stairs descend to this quaint, secluded gazebo, overlooking the island of Maui with views of the north and south shores. The octagon gazebo is a warm and earthy spot perfect for a couple and cozy enough for one, to relax and unwind during your stay on the "Valley Isle". Enjoy a glass of wine on your private deck, snuggle up in your king-sized Tempurpedic bed, enjoy a hot shower overlooking the island, or simply lounge poolside taking in all the beauty that surrounds you. Also on the grounds is the Maui Spa Retreat's aromatherapy spa, offering wonderful ways to unwind after a long day of sight-seeing and running around!

Located about 3000 feet above sea level, the Aromatherapy Foundation of Maui is surrounded by invigorating & refreshing eucalyptus and pine forests that gently scent the pristine air. Year-round temperatures range from the low 60's at night to the mid-80's in the day, perfect for enjoying this spectacular location. The grounds of the Aromatherapy Foundation of Maui & Spa are a blend of mountain wilderness and exotic tropical beauty. Sitting benches throughout a genuine garden with terraces of lavender, the famous upcountry proteas, Avocado , lemon and Tahitian lime trees, are preserved as an oasis of tranquility for the lucky few who stay or spa here. Conveniently just 25 minutes from the airport and north coast beaches and only forty minutes to the beaches of Kihei & Wailea, the Aromatherapy Foundation botanical gardens and Spa is a sparkling jewel within the treasures of Maui.

While others crowd the thoroughfares of the populated beach resort communities below you will be blessed with the tranquility and solitude of the fabled upcountry forest region of Olinda. As Olinda is a hilltop region, you can see the changing scenery of the wonderful countryside, mountains and ocean from every angle around you. The night sky over Olinda is a star-covered phenomenon not to be missed.

This hideaway estate can be found on the sun-kissed slopes of Haleakala in the area frequented by morning rainbows. You will be twenty-five minutes from the airport and the North Shore beaches, and eight minutes from the quaint upcountry town of Makawao, but a million miles from the challenges of the world and only a heartbeat away from the sound of birds singing, the scent of fragrant breezes through the trees and the silence of your own breath.
